| New Age Library |
| |
The Institute has a new age library and research center where digital services in a seamlessly integrated manner envisage a central role in the educational activities at IDEA. The library has a focused collection of books, audiovisual materials on design and its related fields. IDEA has a wide range of collection of books and resources on design, science and technology, art & architecture, paintings, history, humanities, etc. Periodical Journals are an abundance and are mostly on design-related subjects. |

The unique collection of audiovisual materials, which includes films, (Audio Cassettes, Audio LP's, Audio Tapes, Audio CD, CD ROM Databases, Digital Audio Tapes (DAT), Films (16mm & 35 mm), Filmstrips, Microfilms & microfiche, Slides (Transparencies), Video Cassettes (U-matic, VHS, Betamax, Betacam), Video CD and DVD) contains IDEAs own works as well as the ones collected from externally. These are mostly on the topics of design, film classics, and of course IDEAs own experimental and animation films. This collection also includes recordings of lectures and speeches held at IDEA, which are very important resources for both students and faculty in their day-to-day projects and classroom works. |

| Hi-Tech Computer-Browsing Center |

IDEA computer labs are open to students enrolled, offering a wide array of software applications including MS Office, Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive and Acrobat Professional, Macromedia DreamWeaver, Flash and FreeHand, Final Cut Pro HD, SPSS, Final Draft, Roxio Toast/Easy CD Creator, and more. Our hi-tech Computer-Browsing Centre offers a world of information where students can satiate their thirst for knowledge. Students of IDEA have access to library and computer lab facilities in a safe and supervised environment. |
