IDEA, Institute of Design Environment and Architecture is committed to providing quality education in design. IDEA, with its state of the art infrastructure, faculty geared towards catering balanced education, and its strong philosophy of "CO-EXISTENCE with NATURE" and "LEARNING by DOING" proposes to bring in positive change in design education. IDEA, being aware of its responsibility towards society, has set up a research unit, which facilitates growth of environment friendly methodologies in the design industry and of environment conscious designers.
 

IDEA, not only supports enhanced methodologies of learning and teaching but it also has adopted e-learning, discussions through net conferencing and internet based research.
 

IDEA has set up a DESIGN CELL, which has a pool of designers committed to studying issues related to architecture, urban planning, traffic management and signage, rural development etc; and also give solutions to each of them. The Design Cell also has its own dedicated facilities like library, computers, printers, plotter, scanner, broadband internet connection and support staff.
 

IDEA very soon plans to become a global research and design education institute.
