IDEA, being aware of its responsibility towards society, has set up a research unit, which facilitates growth of environment friendly methodologies in the design industry and of environment conscious designers.
 

IDEA, not only supports enhanced methodologies of learning and teaching but it also has adopted e-learning, discussions through net conferencing and internet based research.
 

IDEA has set up a DESIGN CELL, which has a pool of designers committed to studying issues related to architecture, urban planning, traffic management and signage, rural development etc; and also give solutions to each of them. The Design Cell also has its own dedicated facilities like library, computers, printers, plotter, scanner, broadband internet connection and support staff.
